How to speed up your computer with PC Doctor

If you have a good hardware specification and its functioning well you need to ponder about the operating system you are using and the application programs are installed in your PC. In an average all the performance related problems occur due to operating system and application programs are installed in a PC. Though hardware is an integrated and essential component of any PC system however probability of being faulty of a hardware component is lesser than software one. So we need to focus on the later part if hardware is OK.

 Now let us consider the factors that may affect your PC performance severely. I will also discuss how to fix the performance related issues or how to speed up your computer with and withouta PC Doctor program. PC doctor is a program which helps you to diagnose and resolve the PC related problems and especially aims at the performance.

Factors that affect PC performance

Though there can be n number of factors behind making a PC slow or affect its performance yet the major reasons are below mentioned.

Too many programs in your PC- Number of programs are inversely proportion to the performance of the PC. That is if there are too many programs installed in your PC, it will reduce the overall performance for sure.

High graphics and affluent visual effects in the PC- (Theme and Resolution)- High resolution and too many graphics are beautiful to see but they consume unnecessary CPU usage all the time. If you are great concerned about the PC performance you should reduce some of the visual effects. It helps to boost performance.

The OS and Processor- Which operating system you are using matters also. For an instance windows vista is slower than windows XP and now with windows 7. Windows 7 works on cache files so speed increases a lot. Also in windows vista we have to use a great hardware specification otherwise it will be slow. As far as windows 7 is concerned it is a great OS so far Microsoft has released, and works as a PC Doctor as well. There are hundreds of such beautiful tools and utilities that are of immense use.

CPU usage is too high- If your computer is constantly slow I suggest check your CPU usage in task manager. CPU usage can be high due to many reasons. Chief of them are- a virus is residing in your PC, any old and outdated security program keep running on all the time, or you are running heavy programs like gaming software etc. Make sure CPU is not exceeding the normal rate. Ideally it should not be more than 10 to 15%.

Conflict among programs especially security programs- Conflict between programs is common phenomenon nowadays. This can be easily seen in security related programs. If you have installed more than one antivirus program or firewall programs they will certainly reduce the PC performance. Solution for this problem is to use minimal and efficient set of security programs.

Corrupt drivers- If any drivers in your windows are corrupted they will reduce the speed. Reinstall the affected or damaged driver.

The system RAM and speed- RAM is part of hardware. However if your RAM is not sufficient enough to load the application into memory the processing speed is going to be affected certainly. If your RAM is not sufficient I suggest using an additional RAM.

The maintenance part of the PC- Maintenance is a necessary essential activity in any PC irrespective of any operating system. Some essential maintenance activities should be performed regularly. Few of them are, disk cleanup, disk defragmentation, disk checking or check disk utility etc.
