If I have a fax modem and I hook it up to a fax server using a regular telephone line do I get charged extra?

I was wondering if there is data usage that you get charged for from your telco for sending multiple faxes, or is just that you pay for the the phone line to fax over no matter how many faxes you are sending?

Any insight is appreciated.

Fax machines just use an analog signal made up of various frequencies to send data over the phone line. So you will just have a per minute charge or however your landline company charges for the time.
